Sabu is home
and loving school!
Sabu is a 6-year-old girl who was separated from her mother when she was just 2 years old. She and her brother Yogendra were admitted to a children's home in Nepal, where they were mistreated, punished, and underfed.
In late 2021, Sabu and Yogi were reunited with their mother, Sunita, thanks to the work of our Reintegration Officer, Ashmita. Now, Sabu and Yogi are finally able to live with their mother and experience the love and security of a family. They are attending school, receiving medical care, and receiving the love and support they need to thrive.
Sabu is so happy to be back with her mother. She wakes up every day to shower her mother with sweet kisses. Sunita shares how Sabu always holds her had her hand,
"After school, she tells me all about what she reads and what happened during her day. Yogi is also at school, studying and making his way in the world from the safety of his family."
We are so grateful to have been able to help Sabu and Yogi be reunited with their mother. There are many other children who are still waiting to be reunited with their families. Your tax-deductible donation will help us continue our work of reuniting children with their families. With your help, we can give more children the chance to experience the love and security of a family.
